In Payday 2, you’ll join three other players in action-packed heists, kidnappings, robberies and deadly shootouts with SWAT teams, all so you can get paid and move onto bigger and better jobs. Can you run PayDay 2?

Payday 2 is currently one of the biggest sales on Steam during the Steam Summer Sale coming in at 90% off. That translates to less than one dollar for this beloved game devoted to pulling off elaborate heists in order to get paid. This eight year-old game might have had formidable system requirements when it was released, but many modern PCs with a dedicated video card can run it today. Your PC only needs a Radeon HD 2600 or a GeForce 8800 in its video card slot. It also needs at least a 2 GHz Dual-Core CPU - something like a Core 2 Duo E4400 or an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+. Payday 2 requires at least 4 GB of RAM to get above the minimum requirement. The recommended requirements are a bit higher so you’ll need at least a GeForce GTX 460 or a Radeon HD 5850 with at least 1 GB of VRAM. The developers also want your PC to have at least a 2.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU and at least 8 GB of system RAM. If your computer exceeds these specs, then you should really take advantage of this deal and pick up a great game before the sale is over!
