Execute Order 66. The infamous phrase that led to the deaths of Jedi across the galaxy is also the beginning of your origin story. Take on the role of one a Jedi Padawan that narrowly escaped death and is left to pick up the pieces of your fallen Order. Stay one step ahead of the Empire while rediscovering your past as you train to become a Jedi Master. Experience a new and unique approach to cinematics that will actually require the players to engage with in order to create a brand new and fully immersive feeling. Whether you’re slicing and dicing with your light-saber or wielding the force, you will want to do so on a computer that passes the system requirements test. What are the official specs for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order you ask? EA officially announced the specs earlier today so read on to find out.

With a PC that passes the minimum system requirements test, players can expect to run the game on at least Low settings with a steady frames per second output. Specifically, players will need to have a CPU that’s at least as powerful as a Core i3-3220 or AMD FX-6100. Furthermore, your rig needs to contain at least a GeForce GTX 650 or Radeon HD 7750. These specs are actually much lower than we were expecting for such a hyped game. The specs needed for Jedi: Fallen Order are significantly lower than Red Dead Redemption 2, which is set to release in the same season.

When the last single-player Star Wars game came out (The Force Unleashed 2), Windows XP was still a huge player in the Operating System game, but now it isn’t even supported. That’s become the standard for today’s games though. Another standard for triple-a games, as can be seen when looking at Rage 2, is to set the recommended video card requirements at the GeForce GTX 1070 and Radeon RX Vega 56 which is exactly what Fallen Order has done. A year ago, this would seem like a tough sell, but more and more PCs are starting to bulk up for the future so hopefully this isn’t an issue for big Star Wars fans out there. The recommended CPU requirement is also pretty high-end: for Intel, you’ll want at least a Core i7-6700K, and for AMD you’ll need at least a Ryzen 7 1700.

We will continue to update this information when the game releases and we can obtain a more detailed analysis. May the Force be with you.
