Can you run Kingdom Come: Deliverance?
By Cliff Henjum February 7, 2020
The Action role-playing game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, originally released on February 13 in 2018, and it is still a super popular game in the PC gaming world. It was developed by the new Czech video game developer, Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver. Deep Silver has published other popular titles like Metro Exodus and Dead Island. Despite being an almost two year-old title, gamers across the world are still flocking towards it and asking the question: Can my PC run Kingdom Come: Deliverance? We are here to help answer that question with our system requirements test that is based off the official specs released by the developers on release. If your computer’s hardware (CPU/GPU/RAM) is above the minimum system requirements, then you’ll at least be able to run it on low-medium settings with a steady FPS.
The minimum system requirements for Kingdom Come: Deliverance are pretty run-of-the-mill, so to speak. You won’t need a crazy expensive computer to run it, but the chances of a laptop passing the test are a bit lower than most laptop users would like to see. The minimum GPU models that will enable a passing grade are the GeForce GTX 660 and the Radeon HD 7870. These are the exact same video card requirements for Praey for the Gods so if you can run that, you’re in good shape. Furthermore, your CPU should be at least on par with an Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD Phenom II X4 940. Just tack on 8 GB of system RAM, and your computer should be good to run Kingdom Come: Deliverance on at least low-medium settings.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very good looking game given the scope of its open-world nature and has the recommended system requirements to match it. There is a pretty decent jump from minimum to recommended system requirements - the same jump that occurs when looking at Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord’s specs. Warhorse Studios set the recommended video card requirements at the GeForce GTX 1060 and the Radeon RX 580. Your rig should also have at least an Intel Core i7-3770 or an AMD FX-8350 for its CPU if you want to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance on High Settings. Don’t forget about the RAM requirement - your PC should have 16 GB of RAM to go along with the rest of the previously mentioned hardware. Passing this recommended requirements test will have you well on your way to exploring the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia with the graphics cranked all the way up!
