What is System Requirements Lab?
System Requirements Lab is a web-based service that quickly and automatically tells you if your computer can run a specific product. The entire service is run on a web site with immediate summary and detailed analysis provided both graphically and textually. Just select a product, click a button, and it will do the rest. Top

What does this service do?
This service analyzes your computer's system information and compares it against a product's specific minimum and recommended requirements. It then instantly provides both a summary and a detailed analysis of your system. In many cases if your PC does not meet a specific requirement then System Requirements Lab provides links to specific solutions so you can run the product. Top

Can I do this from the website?
Yes. System Requirements Lab is a web-based service that provides all of the analysis on the website. A small ActiveX or Java based component is downloaded the first time you run the service. This component only looks at and verifies your system components when you instruct it to do so from the website. Top

What do I have to do?
Select the product you want to evaluate and click the "Can You RUN It?" button to start System Requirements Lab. The ActiveX/Java based component automatically downloads, (with your explicit permission), and analyzes your computer to see if you can run the product. Top

Can I delete the downloaded ActiveX/Java browser applet after System Requirements Lab has finished analyzing my computer?
Yes. To delete the downloaded ActiveX/Java browser applet and all of its components, navigate to your Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs and look for "System Requirements Lab". Select "System Requirements Lab" and click Remove. Make sure you ONLY remove this entry. Top

If my computer does not meet the listed requirements will this system tell me what is wrong?
Yes. System Requirements Lab provides not only a summary analysis but also a detailed breakdown of each of your system's components. The analysis tells you what the requirement is, what your system has, and whether or not you passed the requirement. If any component does not meet a specific requirement, System Requirements Lab provides specific and detailed solutions to help you upgrade your system.
